During this Toubkal ascent 2 day trek in the Moroccan High Atlas, you will make the ascent of Jebel Toubkal, the highest point of the Maghreb – and North Africa. In Toubkal ascent 2 Days trek you will enjoy Berber hospitality in Toubkal refuge, and a gentle climb to the summit of Toubkal in 2 days trekking in Mount Toubkal.

What clothing and special items should I bring? :

Daytime temperatures can be quite warm. You will need comfortable, loose, cool clothing. Evenings can be cool. Bring a jacket or lightweight cover-up. Most hotel rooms will have air conditioning, but not all. Desert temperatures fluctuate from cold at night to very hot in the day, but you will need to be covered to prevent sunburn. If you are sleeping in a tent, we will provide extra blankets.

Bring sunglasses and head covering. Sunscreen may be purchased once you arrive. Bring comfortable shoes for walking. Moroccans value modesty. Please respect the culture and do not wear clothing that exposes a lot of skin. Long sleeves and long pants or skirts are appropriate for most places you visit. We will visit both of the historical mosques that allow visitors.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Marrakech to Imlil and to Mountain Refuge

Our Toubkal ascent 2 day trek starts with an early woke up and refreshed, after breakfast, we leave Marrakech in our own private transportation for a 1.5hr drive to Imlil the point of our departure trip. Here Trek to Imlil, crossing the valley floor and up onto the side of the valley, arriving at Sidi Chamharouch to 11’S, traditional Berber whiskey (mint tea). Refreshed, we continue up along a new hanging valley and after a couple of hours taking the first glimpse of our target, the Mountain Refuge Neltner to 3,207m. This is our « base camp » for the night. 5:00 trek.

Day 2: Trek to the Summit of Jebel Toubkal & Return to Imlil and Marrakech

Peak day! We take an early breakfast and leave on our « Summit Day ‘Jebel Toubkal 4 167m. It is not easy starting, we need to get on the steep side of the main valley, but taking enjoyable and easy, soil levels on a bit, and we continue our gradual ascent. After about four hours we do it! What feeling, and the magnificent view !! After the celebrations due, photos, and a well-earnt rest and picnic, we return to base camp and then trek down through Sidi Chamharouch Imlil Village. We continue by private vehicle to your hotel in Marrakech. 8 hours.

Good climb to toubkal ascent with an amazing Guide,
I would like to thanks Jamal for being our guide and supporting us to reach our mine goal which was to climb mount toubkl , this is was my 3th time to toubkal and atlas mountain with different local companies however honestly this time it was the best , well oraganized and Jamal was helpfull and professional , thanks to Jamal and his team we will come back again

Mount Toubkal adventeure in 3 day
My experience with Morocco Tour Guide for the Mount Toubkal Trek was amazing and very memorable. I absolutely enjoyed the entire experience. Mustapha fue una guía excelente, muy servicial, amigable para nuestra caminata de 2 días al Monte Toubkal, generosa y flexible con todo el grupo.
