Day 1: Marrakech Day Trip to Essaouira

Travel from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains on a full-day trip to visit Toubkal national park that’s characterized by craggy mountain peaks and deep valleys.

You’ll enjoy the spectacular views of the highest summits in the Atlas mountain chain here as you make your way through the Berber villages.

At the small village of Imlil, you’ll leave the highway and arrive at the starting point for exploring the Toubkal area.

Enjoy a hike of around 2 hours in this stunning natural environment, stopping for lunch at one of the Berber villages that faces Mount Toubkal. The massif, standing an impressive 1900m in altitude is the second-highest mountain in Africa, after Kilimanjaro.

    Atlas Mountain Experience
    Highly recommend this experience. The guide Jamal was super attentive and explained the whole time and in a very pleasant way. In addition, he always solved our doubts and adapts to the group at all times. The transportation was very comfortable and the food was in Berber village with nice view. Thanks to Jamal’s kindness, we were delighted by everything!

    Our tour guide Jamal, was very friendly and knowledgeable who was always willing to help. Highly recommend him. Our trip to the Atlas mountain went as smooth as could be expected from seeing the Berber villages in Imlil the view is spectacular. We spent 2 hike roaming the villages and had an awesome lunch at berber family. An awesome day trip to Imlil.
